SERVICES

Daycare

Our dog’s owners who work during the day use our services as a way to occupy their animals while at the office. We are also an ideal facility for folks whose homes are under construction or being updated, have lock-boxes hanging on the door for realtors, or for those days when the housekeeper is scheduled to visit. Golfing or boating for the day? The Bark Park is the perfect place for your pooch to have an outing while you’re having yours!

While here, the dogs have a blast! Our facility is your dog’s home away from home. We have several home-like, furnished rooms where we separate the dogs based on size and temperament. They play with the other pooches; spend time outside in our enclosed yard running around on our specially-installed Doggy Turf, swimming in either our bone-shaped or paw-shaped pool on especially hot days – at no extra charge – or participating in special events such as doggie birthday parties. And remember, during your dog’s daycare time, you can observe him or her on our “Bowser Browsers”. But, if, for some reason, you are not seeing your dog, simply call us and we will bring them into camera view for you!

If your dog has a hard time when you leave or isn’t around dogs often, we are where they need to be. We can help if your dog has separation anxiety or simply needs some extra attention in the event you are not around. We do this by working closely with Laurie Volpe, of Stuart Pet Pals, the Bark Park’s recommended trainer. She has taught each of us the safest, most humane methods of dog introduction and integration.

Note*** All dogs must be up to date on their shots, be undergoing flea and tick prevention, and we request that they be spayed or neutered if over 8 months old. Finally, we do screen our dogs for proper dispositions and spirit.

Boarding

The Bark Park has many customers who are finally able to go on vacation because they have found the perfect place to leave their dogs. This is because boarding your dogs at the Bark Park means someone is with them 24/7. Dogs that stay here do not sleep in kennels or cages, but rather, for your dog’s comfort and your peace of mind, they will be sleeping in an area with dogs of their size and temperament on toddler beds, or their beds if you prefer. However, if your dog is used to sleeping in a crate, we can accommodate you if you’d care to bring one from home. Also for your convenience you can observe your dogs 24/7 via our Bowser Browsers (aka Doggie Cameras) from the website.

NOTE - We leave our cameras on day and at night.

Our outdoor areas are protected, well-lit and secure for those animals who need a night-time break. All outside visits are supervised. Dogs are allowed outside as late as 10:00 pm and as early as 6:00 am. No dogs are outdoors without someone with them.

We encourage you to bring their food, as changes in their diets can upset their tummies, but if necessary, we will provide food for a small fee. We discourage any toys, as introduction of toys in a group of dogs can cause doggie fusses. And, if your dog requires any type of medication administration we can accommodate you as our staff is thoroughly trained in these areas. During feeding times all dogs are separated.

Finally, we are next to one of Stuart’s finest Veterinarians and within a mile from the Emergency Animal Clinic should your dog require emergency treatment, otherwise, during their stay, we consult directly with your dog’s vet should the need arise and if time permits. Bottom line, while your dog is boarding with us, we treat them as if they were our own. Here at the Bark Park.
